Every figure is the published list price for the AI agent, and helpdesk seat fees are left out on every side, because Merrows connects to the helpdesk you already run.
Only web chat and email conversations are compared, because none of the four vendors publishes a rate for phone calls or SMS threads.
On Merrows a web chat or email conversation uses one credit and an SMS thread uses two. A phone call uses three credits for every ten minutes it starts. A conversation handed to your team also uses credits, and this page counts only the resolved conversations you entered.

Intercom Fin
Intercom Fin is priced from 99¢ for each resolved outcome, and the standalone plan carries a minimum monthly commitment, which Intercom gives as 50 outcomes.

Gorgias AI Agent
The Gorgias AI Agent costs 90¢ for each automated interaction on an annual plan and $1 on a monthly plan.
Gorgias also counts each automated interaction as a helpdesk ticket, and this page adds its lowest published ticket overage of 36¢ to every interaction.
Freshdesk Freddy AI Agent
The Freddy AI Agent on Freshdesk charges $49 for each pack of 100 sessions, and this page rounds a month up to whole packs.
Freshdesk gives 500 free sessions once per account, and this page does not subtract them because they do not recur.
Freshdesk bills a session for any interaction with the AI agent in a 24 hour window, whether or not it was resolved, and this page counts one session per resolved conversation, which understates the Freshdesk figure.
