What a client can do
Book an appointment for the service and the time they ask for. Take a place in a class, or join the waiting list when the class is full. Merrows offers the open times on your Mindbody schedule, writes the booking with the client attached, and Mindbody sends the confirmation.
A client can also cancel a booking or ask which bookings they have this week. A client who asks for a person is passed to a person together with a summary of the conversation, so the conversation continues from the same point. When every member of staff is busy, Merrows completes the booking itself and the front desk sees it on the schedule.
What the studio sees
Bookings appear on the Mindbody schedule with the client, the service and the time attached, exactly like a booking made at the front desk. A first-time caller is created as a Mindbody client before the booking is written, so the client list stays complete.
Every conversation is written down as a transcript and kept with its booking. When a client asks what was promised, the answer is in the transcript. The reports count the conversations that booked, the conversations that cancelled, and the conversations that asked for a person.
Phone, chat and text, at any hour
The same booking conversation runs on your website chat and by text message, so a client who prefers to type gets the same open times and the same confirmation. The phone is answered while the studio is closed, and a booking made at night is already on the schedule when the studio opens in the morning.
You pay for outcomes. A booking made is a resolved conversation, and an answered question is a resolved conversation. A conversation passed to a person has a lower price. The cost guide compares this with plans that charge for every minute.
