What the customer gets
A call answered every time, a chat that replies at once, and an order built from the items and modifiers in your Square catalog rather than from what a caller half remembers. The total is read back before anything is placed.
Questions about hours, location and what is on the menu today are answered from your own information, and a caller who needs a person is transferred with an explanation rather than dropped. When nobody can pick up, Merrows finishes the order itself instead of sending the caller to voicemail.
What happens in Square
The order arrives in Square as an order, with the customer's name and phone number and the pickup time they were given, and the kitchen ticket prints in real time. Nobody re-keys it, so nothing is mistyped between the call and the pass.
The catalog Merrows sells from is your live Square catalog. Change a price, retire an item or mark it sold out and the phone line knows on the next call, with no second menu to keep in step.
Reading what happened
Every phone and chat conversation is transcribed and kept with its order, so a disputed ticket is a thirty-second read rather than an argument. The same view shows how many calls ended in an order, how many were transferred and how many were questions, and which items callers asked for that the catalog did not have.
You pay for outcomes. A placed order is a resolved conversation; a call that ended in a transfer or a hang-up costs less or nothing, and there is no per-minute charge for the ones that ran long.
